Meet Josset

I believe meaningful healing begins when people feel truly seen.

Reaching out for support isn't always easy. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or a major life transition, you deserve a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment.

My role isn't to tell you who to become. It's to walk alongside you, helping you better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move towards meaningful, lasting change.

About Josset Johnson-Wilson

I'm Josset Johnson-Wilson, a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Psychotherapist based in Mississauga. I provide trauma-informed psychotherapy for individuals, couples, teens, and families, both in person and virtually across Ontario.

Every person brings a unique story, which is why I take the time to understand your experiences, your goals, and what matters most to you. Together, we'll create a therapeutic approach that feels supportive, intentional, and right for you.

A Clear Path Forward

  1. Assessment
We begin by exploring your story, understanding your concerns, and identifying what has brought you to therapy.
  2. Goal Setting
Together, we create clear, meaningful goals that reflect what you want to achieve and the life you're working towards.
  3. Meaningful Progress
Each session builds on the last, helping you move beyond coping and towards lasting healing, growth, and positive change.

Our Promise

Whether you're reaching out for the first time or returning to therapy, you'll be welcomed with compassion, curiosity, and respect.

Together, we'll create a space where you feel safe to explore, grow, and move towards meaningful change.

Maybe I can change and heal.

Land Acknowledgment

Rooted in Relationship and Responsibility

Begin Anu Psychotherapy acknowledges that our in-person practice is located on the traditional and treaty territory of the Anishinaabeg, including the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, as well as the Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat peoples. This land is governed by the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, which reflects shared responsibility for the land, mutual respect, and collective care.

We recognize that the impacts of colonization, displacement, and systemic oppression continue to affect Indigenous communities today. As a psychotherapy practice committed to equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-oppressive care, we approach our work with humility, accountability, and a commitment to ongoing learning. We strive to create a therapeutic space that honours lived experiences, challenges systemic inequities, and supports healing that is grounded in respect, dignity, and relational responsibility.
